Vanessa Nowack is an artist, designer and craftsperson versed in many genres and mediums.  With roots in the fine arts and custom furniture, an instinctive sense of space, symmetry and form is the driving force for her design projects.  She specializes in bespoke furniture restoration, space-planning and curated interiors. 

After 17 years in the hospitality & design industry in Boston and years of sifting through street markets & second-hand shops in the US, Europe and Asia, Vanessa returned to her home in New Haven in 2018 to start La Verdad, a conceptual project continued in Barcelona the following year.

She is inspired by painted portraits, foreign bathrooms, religious artifacts of any divinity and Kendrick Lamar.
